There's nothing better than a good ghost story on a cold Christmas night, and the 1940s/50s radio show
Inner Sanctum Mysteries produced some of the best, featuring stars like Orson Welles, Boris Karloff, Mary Astor and Claude Rains. Listen to episodes online at
Obscure Horror or, if you want to get spooky on your iPod, download MP3s from
Old Time Radio.

Loved "Suspense",used to play the lps up in my attic on warm summer nights...and of course tuning into CBS Radio Mystery Theater weekly.Radio may have been one of the optimum ways our generation honed its collective imagination...
